Task 4: a Game-based learning lesson plan
This time we were requested to complete a template about a Game-based learning lesson plan.

As I love playing board games and card games, I was struggling with which one I should pick for my GBL, but I opted to go on a simple but fun one: Battleship.
I tried this one when I was teaching English to teenagers a couple of years ago and went pretty well.

Divided into pairs or teams, they have to draw two 10x10 grids: one for their own words and another for their opponents. In their own grid, they will place 5 different words related to means of transport, one word in each cell, as the ships in the actual game.

Then, they will take turns to guess their opponent's words, saying coordinates. Whenever they get the full words, in order to obtain the point, they will have to make a sentence using it. The first team to get their opponent's 5 words wins.
